The famous Bromsgrove School is regularly in the top ten (sometimes top five) of all British coeducational boarding/day schools in the league tables of educational attainment.
Bromsgrove is part of a three tier system – First, Middle and High schools. These vary from small rural village schools, to schools in the town centre of Bromsgrove and those in a more urban setting in neighbourhoods on the edge of Birmingham. Bromsgrove also has a number of schools and colleges for students with a range of disabilities and special needs.

Significant £multi-million investment has been made in new buildings at Waseley Hills High School since 2009. In addition to this seven new schools were recently built in Bromsgrove as part of the £65million Bromsgrove PFI project.

Bromsgrove’s Further Education establishment, NEW College has invested £40million over the last 10 years including most recently extending the Bromsgrove Campus to add even more fabulous new facilities to the Centre of Excellence for Arts and Technology, with this Centre now not only hosting the superb Harley-Davidson training school and Artrix Theatre but also new TV and music recording studios.
Bromsgrove School have recently opened a new £multi-million sports and Leisure facility which includes a 25-metre swimming pool plus a state-of-the-art fitness suite, two dance studios, two squash courts, six floodlit outdoor netball/tennis courts, an outdoor floodlit artificial pitch, a four-court sports hall and an eight-court sports arena with stadium seating.
Locally the University of Worcester are in the middle of a £100m investment programme and recent projects include the new City Campus, home to the Worcester Business School and Britain’s first university and public library.
