The level of qualifications across adults in Bromsgrove is higher than the national average:

In Bromsgrove 21.8% of residents aged between16 – 74 years have achieved qualification Level 4/5. This compares to a Worcestershire average of 19.3%, and an England average of 19.9%.  Similarly the proportion of residents aged between 16 – 74 years with no qualifications in Bromsgrove is just 26.1%. This compares with a Worcestershire average of 28.1% and average across England of 28.9%.

As well as being able to take formal courses at Bromsgrove NEW College, adults also have the opportunity to learn and gain qualifications through services across the District by Worcestershire County Council.   These range from skills training such as Computing and Literacy to more recreational courses which include a huge range of topics including various art and language courses, jewellery making, family history workshops and digital photography.

Adult classes are held in local Libraries and Community Centres across Bromsgrove to ensure ease of access.
