Location & Transport
Situated on the West Midlands Central Technology Belt approximately 13 miles to the south west of Birmingham, Bromsgrove is central to the UK making it the ideal location for bringing anywhere in the country within easy reach.
The town is approximately 14 miles North of Worcester, and both Droitwich and Redditch are within a 7 mile radius.
Bromsgrove has extremely good road links with the Bromsgrove A38 Eastern Bypass giving direct access to Junction 1 of the M42 and Junctions 4 and 5 of the M5, with the Motorway network also connecting to the M40 and M6 within a short distance.
The Birmingham Cross City Railway line has been extended from ‘University’ to Bromsgrove and the town’s mainline railway station has regular services to Worcester and Birmingham both of which are just one stop removed from Bromsgrove.
Birmingham Airport is only about 30 minutes away by car. Bristol is just over 1 hour’s drive, a trip to Manchester takes about 1 hour 20 minutes and London can be reached in 1 hour 40 minutes.
In addition to this, Bromsgrove provides excellent local transport services in and around the town. There are a number of bus services and various routes that not only provide superb service in the Bromsgrove area, but also go from Bromsgrove to Birmingham and link the town with neighbouring towns and villages. Bus services that go further afield are provided by National Express bus services.
Where bus services are inaccessible or for those unable to drive the Bromsgrove Urban and Rural Transport (BURT) mini-bus service provides a safe and secure service that make journeys within the Bromsgrove District boundaries.
