Bromsgrove Enterprise Park
Bromsgrove Enterprise Park covers a 22 hectare area site just off the A38 and close to the M5 (junctions 4 & 5) and the M42 (junction 1) motorway.
The site was identified by the former Regional Development Agency, Advantage West Midlands, as one of the key development sites in the West Midlands and fundamental to the strategic development of the A38 Technology Corridor which stretches from Aston University to Malvern Science Park.
The Enterprise Park has been developed in phases with the first phase being centred around a Basepoint development which provides high quality, flexible business space on easy in, easy out terms. This makes it ideal for small and nascent technology businesses as well as being suitable for more established companies.
The Basepoint accommodation ranges from micro units suitable for one person businesses through to large linked business suites, drive-up studios and spacious workshop units – most with mezzanine floors.
The demand for commercial premises in Bromsgrove and the success of the first phase of theTechnology Park has recently led to completion of the first section of its second phase: The £9million Sapphire Court, which brings 13 brand new, high quality industrial units to the market place. One of the first speculative developments completed in the West Midlands since the economic downturn, Sapphire Court, totals 35,550 square feet and features secure, self-contained and BREEAM ‘Very Good’ units ranging from 1,402 to 5,378 sq ft.
PxP West Midlands, a private-public partnership between developer Langtree and Advantage West Midlands, has made the investment inSapphire Courtand have already laid roads and infrastructure in preparation for the next stages. When completed, the overall scheme will offer 98,000 square feet of industrial units for lease and sale. Outline planning permission also exists for design and build opportunities up to 40,500 sq ft to provide bespoke properties to further enrich the Enterprise Park’s business community.
